I have a problem with the ruderkopf. As you can see on the picture there are several cracks. I am afraid of welding it, because it might crack again. Is this a well known problem? Can somebody tell me what to do?

Hi Jan,

I had a similar problem. It was solved by welding a U-shaped pieces of stainless steel (Nirosta) onto both sides of the "Ruderkopf". No more instability since then.

you can send us your "ruderkopf" for repair at the end of saison.
We`ll welding it by using pulsed direct current.
